Court preliminarily approves settlement of Comerica overdraft class action

FeeOn November 15, 2013, Judge King in the Southern District of Florida preliminarily approved a settlement of another excessive overdraft class action, this one against Comerica.

Under the terms of the settlement, Comerica will pay $14.58 million to obtain the release of plaintiffs’ claims.  This lawsuit involved another bank that engaged in reordering electronic transactions from largest to smallest.
