Christina (Tina) Beatty-Walters represents clients in complex business and employment litigation in state and federal courts and private arbitrations. Tina concentrates in fraud, unfair competition, intellectual property and employment matters. In addition to the following representative matters, Tina has advised numerous clients on trademark, copyright, trade-secret and employee non-compete issues.
Outside the office, Tina enjoys spending time outdoors, whether tending her own garden or exploring the wilderness by hiking, camping and cross-country skiing.

Securities Law/Attorney Malpractice:
Obtained favorable settlements and judgments in securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty case against an attorney, mortgage broker and investment promoter.
Unlawful Trade Practice:
Obtained injunction against pyramid scheme operating in southern Oregon.
Trademark:
Obtained preliminary and permanent injunction on behalf of an Oregon wireless company in a trademark infringement action brought against a national wireless company.
Securities Fraud:
Favorably resolved several securities fraud cases on behalf of investors in viatical settlements.
Fraud:
Successfully defended real estate developer against fraud and other claims asserted by owner of manufactured home park development, and successfully represented developer in suit against insurance agent for failure to secure appropriate insurance coverage.
Unfair Competition:
Successfully defended internet startup company in false advertising and UTPA case filed by competitor.
Wage Claims:
Obtained favorable Oregon Court of Appeals decision holding that a class of more than 100 employees that did not receive contractual severance benefits or other wages in a timely fashion upon termination is entitled to receive 30 days of penalty wages, amounting to greater than $2 million. Wilson v. Smurfit Newsprint Corp., 197 Or. App. 648 (2005).
