The mayor of Damascus, Oregon sued the City Council and four City Councilors for allegedly violating the state's public meetings law.  The councilors retained Steven Berman to defend them.  The mayor dismissed the suit less than 48 hours after receiving a letter from Berman demanding that the mayor drop the suit.  Click here to read the story as reported by The Oregonian.
