Andrew Steinfeld, on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated, filed a class action against Discover Financial Services seeking injunctive relief and damages resulting from Discover’s alleged illegal actions.  Mr. Steinfeld alleges that Discover Financial knowingly, willfully, and negligently contacted the Plaintiff and Class Members on their cellular telephones without their prior express consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.  He alleges he received repeated, harassing calls at all hours of the day, and that because the calls were prerecorded, he had no ability to request that the calls end or to voice his complaints to a real person.

Mr. Steinfeld is a resident of San Francisco, California.  Discover Financial Services is a Delaware corporation and the parent company of DFS Services and Discover Bank.
